Hanoi - Arrival

Arrive in Hanoi, where your tour guide and driver will warmly welcome you at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show, followed by a guided street food tour exploring the vibrant Old Quarter by foot and taxi, offering a true taste of Hanoi’s local cuisine.

Hanoi - Sightseeing - Overnight Train Lao Cai

Take a full day tour to explore Ha Noi’s illustrious history. In the morning, visit the imposing marble edifice housing the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (CLOSED ON MONDAYS & FRIDAYS) before moving onto his wooden stilt house and the One Pillar Pagoda. You will then explore the first university of Vietnam, the Temple of Literature, which is imbued with the profound philosophies of Confucianism. In the afternoon, visit the Hoan Kiem Lake, the Ngoc Son Temple and an ancient Vietnamese “long house”. A one-hour cyclo tour of Ha Noi’s Old Quarter allows you to catch a glimpse of ancient Ha Noi and learn about traditional Vietnamese architecture.

In the evening, transfer to the train station for an overnight train to Lao Cai. You will be accommodated in a comfortable cabin with private single berths, equipped with soft mattresses, blankets, and air-conditioning for a restful journey.

Lao Cai - Sapa - Trekking

Arrive in Lao Cai early in the morning and transfer to Sapa by private car. After breakfast, begin a full-day trekking tour through Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van villages, located in the heart of Muong Hoa Valley. Walk along terraced rice fields, village paths, and small streams while learning about the daily life and cultural traditions of the Black H’mong and Giay ethnic minorities. Enjoy lunch along the way while experiencing local life. In the late afternoon, your driver will pick you up and transfer you back to Sapa. Check in at your hotel and relax.

Sapa - Fansipan Peak - Silver Waterfall - Sapa

After breakfast, transfer to the Fansipan cable car station for an unforgettable journey to the summit of Fansipan, known as the “Roof of Indochina” at 3,143 meters above sea level. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range before reaching the peak, where you can take photos and explore the mountain-top complex. Descend by cable car and return to Sapa for lunch.
Please note: The Fansipan tour is optional and not included in the package. Guests can choose to join this experience at their own expense.

In the afternoon, visit Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac), one of the most impressive waterfalls in the area, followed by a stop at Heaven’s Gate on Hoang Lien Son Pass, where panoramic views open over the mountains and valleys surrounding Sapa.

Sapa - Hang Da - Sa Seng - Sapa - Lao Cai - Overnight Train

Continue trekking to Hang Da & Sa Seng villages, remote areas inhabited by the local H’mong ethnic minority, nestled on the mountainsides and offering a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. Free time in the afternoon until transfer to Lao Cai for the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

Arrive in Hanoi early morning. Free time before transfer to Ha Long Bay. You will board a junk for a cruise among the hundreds of islets of Ha Long Bay while enjoying lunch. Drop anchor in the late evening for an overnight stay among the dramatic limestone peaks rising out of the sea.

Ha Long Bay - Hanoi/Next departure.

Continue cruising with activities such as kayaking or cave visits. Return to Hanoi or transfer directly to air port for your next departure.
