Ha Noi – Ba Be National Park – Pac Ngoi Village

Depart Ha Noi in the morning for a full-day journey to Ba Be National Park, one of Vietnam’s most outstanding natural reserves, celebrated for its limestone mountains, dense forests and tranquil lakes. En route, stop to visit the Thai Nguyen Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays), offering valuable insights into the cultural diversity of northern Vietnam.

Upon arrival in Ba Be, explore the impressive Hua Ma Cave, a vast limestone cavern adorned with dramatic stalactites and stalagmites. Continue onward to Pac Ngoi Village, a traditional Tay ethnic village peacefully set along the shores of Ba Be Lake. Check in at a local homestay and enjoy a warm welcome from your hosts. Dinner will be served at the homestay, allowing you to experience authentic Tay cuisine and rural hospitality.

Ba Be Lake Exploration – Ha Noi

After breakfast at the homestay, check out and take a short walk to the Pac Ngoi boat pier. Board a private boat for a leisurely cruise on Ba Be Lake and along the scenic Nang River. Highlights of the journey include the spectacular Puong Cave, the cascading Dau Dang Waterfall, and views of ethnic minority villages nestled along the riverbanks, offering a glimpse into the local way of life. Disembark at Buoc Lom pier, where your vehicle awaits for the return drive to Ha Noi. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant en route. Arrive back in Ha Noi in the late afternoon, marking the end of services.
