Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho - Cai Von - May Islet

Depart from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City in the morning for a scenic drive to Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival at Victoria Can Tho Resort at 10:00 AM, step aboard your private sampan where your attentive crew welcomes you with cold towels and a refreshing drink as the boat begins a gentle cruise along the Hau River. Arriving in the Cai Von area, glide past charming riverside villages before visiting a Cao Dai temple. Continue with a leisurely bicycle ride through peaceful countryside lanes and rice fields, offering an intimate glimpse into Delta life at its calmest. Along the way, meet local residents and join a family to prepare “bánh kẹp”, a traditional crispy snack reflecting the warmth and simplicity of the Mekong culture.

Back on board, cruise through the My Hoa waterways to visit a passionate local antique collector. Discover rare objects and hear captivating stories that reveal unexpected layers of the region’s past. Enjoy a specially prepared lunch in this distinctive home, surrounded by the quiet charm of the countryside.

May Islet - Cai Rang Market - Ho Chi Minh City

The boat departs at 6:00 AM to reach Cai Rang Floating Market at its liveliest hour. Breakfast is served on board as your sampan weaves among hundreds of boats where traders laden with tropical fruits and vegetables exchange goods in a vibrant floating marketplace scene.

After returning to the private jetty of Victoria Can Tho Resort at 9:00 AM, disembark and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. Finish your trip at noon time.
