    01

    Hanoi - Lao Cai - Sapa

    Depart from Hanoi in the morning for a scenic drive to Sapa, located in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Enjoy the changing landscapes as the flat lowlands gradually give way to breathtaking mountain scenery. Arrive in Sapa around midday and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Sapa town at your own pace.

    02

    Sapa - Sightseeing

    In the morning, start a trekking experience through Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages (level 3/5), located in the heart of Muong Hoa Valley. Walk along terraced rice fields, village paths, and small streams while learning about the daily life and cultural traditions of the Black H’mong and Giay ethnic minorities. Lunch can be arranged on the way. Afternoon, countinue a soft trekking toward to Ta Van village (level 1/5) before meeting your car. Return to Sapa town in the late afternoon.

    03

    Sapa - Fansipan Peak - Thac Bac Waterfall - Heaven Gate - Sapa

    After breakfast, transfer to the Fansipan cable car station for an unforgettable journey to the summit of Fansipan, known as the “Roof of Indochina” at 3,143 meters above sea level. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range before reaching the peak, where you can take photos and explore the mountain-top complex. Descend by cable car and return to Sapa for the lunch.

    In the afternoon, visit Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac), one of the most impressive waterfalls in the area, followed by a stop at Heaven’s Gate on Hoang Lien Son Pass, where panoramic views open over the mountains and valleys surrounding Sapa.

    04

    Sapa - Bac Ha - Ha Giang

    Take a morning scenic drive to Bac Ha Town, stop for some break to enjoy the open view of the highland before continue your journey to Xin Man & Hoang Su Phi, the two western mountainous districts of Ha Giang where you will have a great opportunity to view the best rice terrace in Viet Nam (Best time Sep-Oct), the heaven gates and road hidden in the cloud. Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant en-route. Arrive in Ha Giang and the rest of the day is at your leisure or take a walk to Tay village if time permitted.

    05

    Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Dong Van

    Drive on the undulating terrain, between 700m and 1,300m in height, through extraordinary mountainous landscapes and terraced paddy fields. You will stop at the Quyet Tien Market (Saturday) where the minority groups of the Nung, White Hmong, Po Y, Dao Lanten and Tay gather to trade their produce. Proceed to the Heaven’s Gate and the Fairy Mountain before visiting a White Hmong village which specializes in flax weaving. This is a wonderful opportunity to stretch your legs and explore the village. There will be another visit to a village of the Zao Lanten before taking a lunch break. After lunch, proceed to Sung La to discover a LoLo house and its people (the LoLo minority is one of Vietnam's least-common ethnic people and are only found within this region). Afterwards, visit the impressive ancient Hmong King Palace before reaching Dong Van Town. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into a hotel.

    Dong Van - Meo Vac - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Nho Que - Meo Vac

    In the morning, visit the Sunday Dong Van Minority Market, one of the most beautiful ethnic markets in Vietnam. Before reaching the peak of Ma Pi Leng Pass, admire panoramic views of the rocky mountains, the river, and terraced rice fields. Continue to Meo Vac Market, where locals trade cattle and other livestock.

    In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nho Que River and admire the majestic Tu San Cliff. Enjoy a sunset coffee while marveling at the panoramic views where the mountains meet the river. Check in to your hotel in Meo Vac.

    Meo Vac - Ha Giang - Hanoi

    Leave Meo Vac in the morning for a downhill drive back to Ha Giang. After lunch, continue the journey and return to Hanoi.
