In the morning, pay a visit to Hoi An ancient town highlights include an ancient merchant house, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the vibrant riverside market.
In the afternoon, check into your hotel in Hoi An. Our guide and US Military Jeep will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a relaxing journey through the peaceful countryside, with a short stop at a small hamlet to observe local daily life. You will then visit a traditional communal house, an important symbol of rural spiritual life where local rituals and festivals take place. Take a full day tour to explore Ha Noi’s illustrious history. In the morning, visit the imposing marble edifice housing the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (CLOSED ON MONDAYS & FRIDAYS) before moving onto his wooden stilt house and the One Pillar Pagoda. In the morning, depart for Ninh Binh. Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, where you will explore the historic Dinh Temple and Le Temple. These sacred sites are dedicated to the kings of the Dinh and Early Le dynasties, offering insight into Vietnam’s early statehood and royal traditions.
The journey continues to Tam Coc, often referred to as “Halong Bay on land.” Here, board a traditional sampan for a peaceful boat ride along the Ngo Dong River, gliding through rice fields and beneath towering limestone cliffs that rise majestically from the flat plain. After breakfast, embark on cruise boat upstream on the Mekong River, which gives you a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.
Returning to Luang Prabang you have the option of visiting Ban Xanghai, where the local specialty of rice wine is produced; Ban Xiengkek and Ban Xangkhong where villagers making jute paper and continue to visit the textile village of Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving.
Once return to Luang Prabang city, continue exploring the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artefacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang; visit the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. We finish the day by observing the view of Luang Prabang town at Phousi mountain and night market.

Early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual.
This morning, we drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails.

After breakfast at hotel, we start visiting the major sights of the capital; including the Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Enroute to Lao’s national icon, the precious and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
We transfer out to see the Buddha Park, an enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the Mekong Riverside meadow, near the Friendship Bridge. There are approximately 200 religious images dating back over 500 years, which were created by a mysterious monk spreading his philosophy on life and to reveal his ideas about the universe. A spectacular view of over the Mekong River at sunset is a perfect way to finish the day.
