(TITC) – Vietnam has emerged as a top coastal hotspot for Indian tourists expanding their international beach bucket lists, according to recent accommodation search insights released by digital travel platform Agoda. The data highlights a growing trend among Indian travellers seeking a wider variety of coastal landscapes and cultural experiences across South and Southeast Asia, as well as Europe.

Among Vietnam’s prominent coastal destinations, Phu Quoc Island is drawing strong interest. Known as Vietnam’s “Pearl Island”, Phu Quoc offers a captivating blend of pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush biodiversity protected within Phu Quoc National Park. Visitors can enjoy luxury resorts, vibrant seafood night markets, island-hopping tours, and diverse eco-tourism activities alongside its famous coastal scenery.

Da Nang, central Vietnam’s dynamic coastal hub, attracts visitors by pairing its scenic coastline with a world-renowned local culinary scene. Famed for iconic stretches like My Khe Beach, Man Thai Beach, Son Tra Peninsula and landmark attractions such as the Golden Bridge, Ba Na Hills the city serves as a paradise for food lovers. Travellers can indulge in authentic regional specialties such as Mi Quang (Quang-style noodles bowl), Bun Cha Ca (fish cake noodle soup), Banh Xeo (crispy savoury pancakes), and an abundant variety of freshly caught seafood along the beachfront.

Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Vietnam, continues to captivate international travelers with its majestic natural wonder. Agoda noted that while traditional beach favourites like Bali and Phuket remain highly popular, Indian travellers are increasingly looking beyond conventional destinations. Gaurav Malik, Agoda’s Country Director for the Indian Subcontinent and Indian Ocean Islands, explained that Indian tourists are broadening their horizons toward a more diverse mix of beach escapes, ranging from quiet coastal towns to bustling seaside spots.
