Four high-spending tourists including an American billionaire is scheduled to visit Ha Long Bay in northern Vietnam on a three-day, two-night trip coinciding with Vietnam’s National Day on Sept. 2.
The tourists will depart from Hanoi, fly to Van Don port by seaplane, and then board a cruise to explore Ha Long Bay, a representative of the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Tourism confirmed on Friday, without disclosing the tourists’ identities.
A highlight of the program, which offers exclusive itineraries, is the Tra San–Cong Do area, known for its sandy beaches, coral reefs, and diverse marine life, spanning 100 to 800 square meters.
According to the tour organizer, guests are also taken to private, untouched areas of the bay. If they wish to see famous sites such as Thien Cung or Sung Sot caves, the operator will arrange private access.
Since the launch of Ha Long exclusive tours late last year, three to four groups of ultra-wealthy tourists have taken part.
In February, American financiers Jeff Grinspoon and Jon Thomas Foley joined the same program.
