Verified PurchaseBy Eileen May 24, 2026 A Lovely Little Adventure, So It WasOh, the Cu Chi tunnels were very interesting, though my poor old knees complained a bit – but isn't it wonderful to learn about how people survived? The Mekong boat was so peaceful, and that early morning at Cai Rang market – a sweet young woman threw me a mango and I caught it like a girl half my age! Five days flew by, and I came home with red dirt on my shoes and a smile on my face. I'd do it all over again.

Verified PurchaseBy Chloe Dubois May 23, 2026 I Survived Cu Chi and All I Got Was Red Clay EverywhereNothing says "relaxing holiday" like crawling through dark underground tunnels while sweating like a sinner in church – Cu Chi was fascinating and terrifying in equal measure. The Mekong Delta overnight near Tra On was lovely until the 5 AM wake-up call for Cai Rang market, but a woman threw me a mango and suddenly all was forgiven. Five days of tunnels, rivers, and early mornings – I'm exhausted, I'm covered in red dirt, and I'm already planning my return.

Verified PurchaseBy Kai Williams May 19, 2026 Whatever. It Was Decent.Cu Chi tunnels. Yeah, they were fine. Dark. Cramped. History. The Mekong boat was a boat, the floating market was a market, and someone gave me a mango. Five days, three stars, whatever. I guess I'd recommend it if you're into that sort of thing.

Verified PurchaseBy Chloe May 16, 2026 BEST FIVE DAYS OF MY WHOLE LIFE!!!Cu Chi tunnels were SO COOL – I crawled through a tiny hole and felt like a secret agent!! Then I slept on a BOAT near Tra On and saw FIREFLIES and a woman at Cai Rang market threw me a MANGO and I caught it!! Five days, so much fun, I'm already looking at flights back – Vietnam, I LOVE YOU!!!

Verified PurchaseBy David May 15, 2026 I Thought This Would Be a Tourist Trap. I Was WrongI rolled my eyes at the Cu Chi Tunnels – another war tourist attraction, I thought. Then I crawled through those narrow passages, and I understood. The Mekong overnight seemed gimmicky on paper, but fireflies and a 5 AM mango from a floating boat? Genuinely unforgettable. Fine. You were right. It was worth it.

Verified PurchaseBy Scarlett May 15, 2026 I Crawled Through Hell and Found Heaven on a Mango BoatCu Chi swallowed me into its dark, narrow womb, and I emerged a changed woman – red clay staining not just my clothes but my very soul! The Mekong Delta rocked me on its brown bosom, and at 5 AM, under a sky still heavy with stars, a goddess in a conical hat threw me a mango that tasted like redemption itself. Five days, five thousand emotions, and I left a piece of my heart floating somewhere between Cai Be and Tra On – forever.

Verified PurchaseBy Kowalski May 13, 2026 Too Much Moving, But I Suppose It Was FineCu Chi tunnels were interesting, I'll give them that, but crawling on my knees at my age? My back still hurts. The Mekong boat was nice enough, though that 5 AM wake-up for Cai Rang market was criminal – but the mango was good, I'll admit. Five days, three cities, one sore body – would I do it again? No. Did I hate it? Also no.

Verified PurchaseBy Alex Nowak May 13, 2026 Five Days, Four Emotions, One VietnamDay one: landed in chaos. Day two: crawled through Cu Chi (claustrophobia unlocked), saw Reunification Palace, ate pho. Day three: Cai Be's floating market, then drifted to Tra On—slept on a boat like a river rat. Day four: Cai Rang at 5 am (worth it), Can Tho for lunch, long drive back. Day five: woke up, flew home. Exhausted? Yes. Satisfied? Also yes. Vietnam in a nutshell: loud, beautiful, humid, unforgettable.

Verified PurchaseBy Julian May 12, 2026 An Ontological Inquiry into the Nature of Five-Day TravelCu Chi posed the fundamental question: what does it mean to inhabit darkness, even briefly, and emerge forever altered? The Mekong Delta offered a counterpoint – the ephemeral beauty of a mango shared at dawn, a transaction beyond commerce, a moment of pure presence. Five days, three landscapes, one inescapable conclusion: the brevity of the journey does not diminish its profundity.

Verified PurchaseBy Rolf Jørgensen May 9, 2026 I Hated the Early Mornings. I Loved Everything Else.Let me complain first: Day 4 required a 4:45 am wake-up for Cai Rang. I am not a morning person. I was angry. Then the market appeared—hundreds of boats, mountains of fruit, women laughing and yelling—and I forgot to be angry. Day 2's Cu Chi tunnels were sweaty and cramped (bring water). Day 3's cruise to Tra On was surprisingly peaceful. The overnight boat was basic but fine. Day 5 was just departure. Would I trade those early mornings for a slower trip? No. The market made it worth it.
