Verified PurchaseBy Declan O'Shea May 22, 2026 I Swam with Fish and Cried Happy TearsBest day in Phu Quoc, hands down. The snorkeling at Xuong Island was unreal—coral everywhere, fish of every color, and I definitely yelled "NEMO!" into my snorkel at one point. Lunch on the boat was simple but delicious (hungry + sea breeze = perfection), and May Rut Trong was so beautiful I actually got emotional. White sand, turquoise water, not too many people. I floated on my back for an hour, staring at the sky, doing absolutely nothing. Pure bliss.

Verified PurchaseBy Anders Holm May 16, 2026 Float. Watch. Breathe.Boat left at ten. Water was warm. Mask on. Face down. Coral. Fish. Blue. Lunch on the boat. Then May Rut Trong: white sand, no words, just sun. Back by four. I saw something beautiful. I said nothing. That was enough.

Verified PurchaseBy Enzo Martelli May 16, 2026 No Bullshit. Just Great Snorkeling.Xuong Island: coral is fantastic, water is clear, fish are everywhere—saw parrotfish, clownfish, something with teeth that I swam away from quickly. Lunch on the boat is basic but fine (rice, fish, fruit). May Rut Trong: white sand, turquoise water, perfect for floating. Not overcrowded when we went. Bring reef-safe sunscreen. The crew was friendly and professional. Would absolutely do this again. Best snorkeling of my entire Vietnam trip.

Verified PurchaseBy Deepa Rajan May 15, 2026 What the Sea UnlockedI have always feared the open water—its depth, its darkness, its unknown—but Phu Quoc held my hand and led me gently in, and suddenly I was breathing underwater, watching coral breathe with me. Xuong Island showed me a world I had only ever seen in documentaries: parrotfish grazing, anemones swaying, a cuttlefish shifting colors like a living kaleidoscope. May Rut Trong let me rest afterward, white sand warm beneath my tired body, and I lay there, sun on my face, grateful for a country that had taught me to trust the sea.

Verified PurchaseBy Ronan Doyle May 13, 2026 I Snorkeled Until My Face HurtWhat a day! Xuong Island snorkeling was absolutely incredible—coral like I've never seen, fish everywhere, and I definitely swallowed some seawater because I kept gasping at the beauty. Lunch on the boat was basic but delicious (starving + sea air = best meal ever). Then May Rut Trong: white sand, turquoise water, pure paradise. I floated on my back for an hour, too tired to swim, too happy to care. Best snorkeling trip of my life. My face is sunburned. Worth it.

Verified PurchaseBy Maren Jørgensen May 10, 2026 I Still Dream of That Turquoise WaterMonths later, I still close my eyes and feel Phu Quoc's water holding me—warm, weightless, the sun filtering through blue-green depths onto coral gardens I had only ever seen in nature documentaries. I still remember the exact moment a sea turtle glided past me at Xuong Island, close enough to touch, and I forgot to breathe, frozen in wonder and disbelief. May Rut Trong's white sand has become a photograph on my wall, but the real souvenir is something else—the quiet peace I found floating on my back, staring at the sky, belonging nowhere and everywhere at once.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Elena Petrova May 10, 2026 Beautiful Islands and Crystal-Clear WaterI had an amazing time exploring the islands around Phu Quoc. Snorkeling at Xuong Island was unforgettable, and the beach at May Rut Trong was absolutely stunning. The whole trip felt very relaxing.

Verified PurchaseBy Irina Fedorov May 9, 2026 The Ocean's Secret GardenThe boat hummed beneath me as we cut through water the color of melted emeralds, and I watched the coastline shrink to a green whisper behind us. Xuong Island revealed its treasures slowly—first a flash of orange, then a school of silver, then coral gardens blooming in shades I had no names for, a sea turtle drifting past like a benediction. May Rut Trong welcomed me back to the surface with white sand and warm shallows, and I lay there, salt drying on my skin, already planning my return to that underwater world.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Ginevra Rossi May 8, 2026 A Hymn in Blue and GoldI slipped beneath the surface and forgot I had ever breathed air—the water held me, the coral swayed like a choir, and fish in gold and sapphire wove between me and the light. Xuong Island was a psalm written in purple and green, a sea turtle its ancient priest gliding through the current with a patience I could only admire. May Rut Trong called me back to the world of sun and sand, and I emerged dripping, blinking, transformed.

Verified PurchaseBy Erik Sundström May 7, 2026 Down. Under. Quiet.Ten o'clock: boat. Eleven: snorkel. Coral. Fish. Blue. Lunch on deck. One-thirty: May Rut Trong. White sand. Warm water. Silence. Four-thirty: back. My skin smelled like sea. My eyes had seen color I could not name. I did not need words.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Kai Thompson May 6, 2026 Coral, Currents, and Pure JoyTen o'clock: boat departs. Eleven: IN THE WATER—snorkel on, eyes wide, coral everywhere, fish schooling past, a sea turtle that made my entire year. Lunch on deck (solid fuel for more swimming). One-thirty: May Rut Trong—white sand, turquoise water, perfect for pretending you're in a movie. I snorkeled until my lips were pruned, swam until my arms were jelly, and lay on the beach until the crew called us back. Best day in Phu Quoc. No contest. Ten out of ten.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Patrick O’Connor May 6, 2026 A Must-Do Activity in Phu QuocThis tour exceeded my expectations. The snorkeling spots were beautiful, and the islands looked like postcards. Everything was well managed and stress-free.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Ananya Krishnamoorthy May 5, 2026 What the Water Gave BackI arrived at the harbor carrying a sadness I had not named, and Phu Quoc took it from me piece by piece—first the wind on the boat, then the warmth of the water, then the coral gardens that asked nothing of me but presence. Xuong Island showed me a world so alive, so vibrant, that my own worries shrank to nothing beside a sea turtle's slow, ancient grace. May Rut Trong let me rest, white sand beneath my back, sun on my closed eyelids, and I lay there, salt on my lips, grateful for a day that had reminded me how to breathe.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Samira Kanaan May 5, 2026 A Small Blessing Beneath the WavesI did not know that breathing underwater could feel like a homecoming, but there I was at Xuong Island, mask over my eyes, watching a clownfish guard its anemone home, and I felt something in my chest grow quiet and full. The coral swayed in the current like a slow dance, and I floated above it, weightless, insignificant, perfectly content to be a small witness to something so ancient and alive. May Rut Trong held me afterward, white sand warm beneath my tired body, and I closed my eyes, salt on my lips, sun on my face, and thanked Phu Quoc for a day I would carry home like a small, precious stone in the pocket of my heart.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Idris Haddad May 5, 2026 What the Coral Taught Me About TimeThe coral does not rush. It grows over decades, centuries, building its cathedral one polyp at a time, and I swam through its patient abundance, learning something about slowness I had always been too hurried to understand. The fish paid me no attention—I was just a passing shadow in their world, and that humbling was exactly what I needed after years of trying to be seen. May Rut Trong held me on its white sand, and I lay there, silent, watching clouds drift past, and understood that sometimes the most profound thing you can do is absolutely nothing at all.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Olena Bondarenko May 3, 2026 The Blue CathedralThe boat slipped through turquoise water, and I sat at the bow, wind in my hair, watching the horizon dance between sea and sky. Xuong Island welcomed me into its underwater cathedral—coral gardens blooming in purple and gold, clownfish darting through anemone tentacles, a school of silver fish parting around me like a whispered secret. May Rut Trong held me afterward, white sand warm beneath my sun-tired body, and I lay there, salt on my lips, wondering if I had ever felt so completely alive.
-
Verified PurchaseBy Rosalba Conti May 2, 2026 A Prayer Beneath the WavesI dipped my face beneath the surface and found a universe—coral cathedrals swaying in silent currents, fish like scattered jewels, sunlight filtering through water like gold leaf falling from heaven. Xuong Island held its breath beneath me, and I swam through schools of sapphire and amber, a sea turtle blessing me with its slow, ancient gaze. May Rut Trong pulled me back to the world of air and light, white sand warm beneath my feet, and I stood there, dripping, grateful, and utterly speechless.

Verified PurchaseBy Noah van der Berg April 21, 2026 Enjoyable tripWhere do I even begin? This full-day island hopping trip was the absolute highlight of my Phu Quoc stay. Our speedboat cut through crystal-clear waters like a knife, and by 10 AM, I was already floating above coral gardens near Mong Tay Island – think Nemo, neon blue starfish, and fish so colorful they looked photoshopped. We hopped to Gam Ghi Island for a secluded beach lunch (best grilled squid of my life), then snorkeled again at May Rut, where the water was so calm and warm I didn't want to leave. The crew was pure energy – cracking coconuts, pouring rum, and even jumping in to show us hidden spots. Between stops, we tried sea urchins right off the boat (spiky but delicious!). If you love the ocean and want a day that feels like a postcard come to life, don't miss this trip.Date of Experience: April 15, 2026

Verified PurchaseBy Zara Mansour April 19, 2026 A Small Miracle UnderwaterI did not know that breathing underwater could feel like coming home, but there I was at Xuong Island, mask over my eyes, watching a clownfish guard its anemone, and I felt something in my chest unlock. The coral swayed in the current like a slow dance, and I floated above it, weightless, insignificant, perfectly content to be a small witness to something so ancient and alive. May Rut Trong held me afterward, white sand warm beneath my tired body, and I closed my eyes, salt on my lips, sun on my face, and thanked Phu Quoc for a day I would carry home like a small, quiet blessing.

-
Verified PurchaseBy Idris Najjar April 18, 2026 Lessons from the CoralThe coral does not compete. It simply grows, each polyp adding its small stone to a cathedral that will outlive us all, and I swam through its silence learning something about patience I had always been too rushed to understand. The fish did not notice me—I was a passing shadow, a temporary curiosity, and that anonymity was a gift after years of performing for invisible audiences. May Rut Trong held me on its white sand, and I lay there, silent, watching clouds rearrange themselves across the sky, and understood that sometimes the most profound thing you can do is simply be.
