Arrive in Ha Noi and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Early evening, begin your journey with the Hanoi After Dark Vespa tour, accompanied by a private driver. Drive through rice paddy fields to Ha Long Bay. Board a junk for a cruise among the hundreds of islets of Ha Long Bay while enjoying lunch. Drop anchor in the late evening for an overnight stay among the dramatic limestone peaks rising out of the sea.

Start your day by a transfer to An Thoi Harbor for a morning speedboat ride, you will visit Gam Ghi Island and Xuong (or Buom) Island to snorkel and admire vibrant natural coral reefs. The journey continues to May Rut Trong Island where you can swim, relax on the white sandy beach, and capture stunning photos. Guests will enjoy lunch on the island and may join the Sea Walker experience at their own expense. The highlight of the trip is a visit to Hon Thom Island with access to the exciting water park. Finally, take a 25-minute cable car ride for a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the turquoise sea before returning to your hotel at around 17:30.

Unlike some of the more packed itineraries, this one strikes a wonderful balance between sightseeing and leisure. We started in Hanoi, where a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter and a visit to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum gave us just the right dose of history and culture. The overnight cruise in Halong Bay was breathtaking — we spent a magical evening kayaking, squid fishing, and sleeping on the water surrounded by limestone giants. Then came the beach portion, and wow — Da Nang's My Khe Beach and the stunning coastline around Nha Trang were pure paradise. We had plenty of free time to swim, read by the pool, and simply unwind. A day trip to the ancient town of Hoi An (with its lantern-lit streets and incredible tailor shops) added just the right touch of charm, and we ended the trip with two relaxing days in Ho Chi Minh City, including an easygoing visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The hotels were comfortable and well-located — most were within walking distance to the beach or major attractions. Our guides were friendly, never rushed us, and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. If you want to see Vietnam's highlights without feeling exhausted, this is the tour for you.
