Verified PurchaseBy Emma Richardson(United Kingdom (UK))April 20, 2026 Ben Xuan GardenWhat a delightful find! The Ben Xuan Garden tour was the perfect break from the bustling streets of Hanoi's Old Quarter. Tucked away behind unassuming alleyways, this hidden garden restaurant feels like stepping into a different world — lush greenery, koi ponds, and the gentle sound of water features creating an oasis of calm . We opted for the lunch tour, and from the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The set menu featured classic Hanoi dishes done beautifully — the spring rolls were perfectly crispy, the bun cha came with fragrant grilled pork, and the cha ca (turmeric fish with dill) was a standout. Our guide explained the story behind each dish, adding a lovely cultural layer to the meal. The 3-hour pace was just right — unhurried enough to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, but efficient for those with a busy sightseeing schedule. They also offer an evening dinner option with live traditional music, which I hear is magical with the garden lit up by lanterns. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner spot or simply need a quiet escape from the chaos, Ben Xuan Garden delivers on both food and ambiance. Highly recommended!Date of Experience: April 09, 2026
