Early morning transfer to Ba Dinh Square where you will witness the Vietnamese Flag Raising Ceremony (summer, 6:00am; winter, 6:30am). After the ceremony, this is a favourite gathering place for daily morning exercises. If weather permits, take part in the morning activities such as “Tai Chi” and badminton, or walk along and chat with the locals. Enjoy moments of tranquillity while taking in one of the most beautiful tree-lined avenues in the city and passing by many famous landmarks of Ha Noi. Visit Quang An Flower Market before take a walk and view the Red River from the Long Bien Bridge, a historical relic that miraculously survived the war. You will gain a good feel for the Ha Noi way of life when weaving through many narrow streets of the Old Quarter. Get a glimpse into daily life, including shop openings, mobile flower and fruit vendors working, children going to school, locals having coffee and breakfast on sidewalks and people on their vehicles heading to work. Stop and enjoy a typical Ha Noi breakfast if you wish. Drive back to the hotel after breakfast.
